Hello everyone at Team Moose.

We’re closing the cafe until 25 March 2010 to make way for a new concept: Moose General Store.

It’s an important time for us to make this change as our focus is shifting somewhat into getting our products refined and ready for the world. Our Moose General Store will be our playspace and showcase for our much loved products: granola, muesli, jam, tea, sauces and many other items we’re developing over the course of the year.

We’ll be posting regular updates on the site; in the meantime, get in touch with us if you’d like to chat or place an order.

Looking forward to seeing you towards the end of March!

What do you think? It’s an initial concept for Moose General Store … I LOVE the ratty old American Mid-West direction it’s heading towards. Let me know what you think.

So we have a little bit of time on our hands, so of course we’re going to play with designs! Here’s a treatment we toyed with recently (apologies to Jesus – you’re ok, it’s just that some of your followers are … odd).

The big fridge has gone

We sold the big fridge! It was dominating the (very small) space we have. There’s now a strange coloured gap on the floor that we have to paint. It’ll be painted once we make some modifications to the cafe/shop layout in early March 2010.

Moose cafe now open weekends only

Hey there lovely supporters of Moose. As of this week, we’re closing our cafe on weekdays. We’ll still be there, but working on our wholesale business supplying our famous brownies, muesli, jams and tea. We’ll still be open for breakfast and lunch on the weekends, so we’ll see you then!

Hey there everyone, we’ve been up late for the past few weeks looking at a new look for Moose: More.Better.Nice. After a million changes to fonts, placement, colour and layout, voila! Here’s the new logo.

Moose cafe in Redfern is now officially opened for 2010. No we’re not, we’ve closed Moose Cafe in Redfern to make way for a new concept.

We had a nice break, but didn’t stop thinking about you, food and our little business. This year, expect more of our beautiful hand-made muesli and granola, some yummy seasonal jams and relishes and a range of other products which will be available for sale in our cafe, through fine retailers and via our online store (oooh, this is very very very very very very very very very very exciting – stay tuned for a world-first!)
